
Robbinsville Township, N.J. – June 9, 2021 – In December 2019, construction of Freedom Village at Robbinsville began, which includes four three-story buildings containing 72 one- to three-bedroom apartments affordable to families with incomes of up to 50% of the median income for the area, and supportive housing for special needs residents.
“It has been an honor to dedicate my engineering services toward the development of supportive homes with wider doorways and hallways for wheelchair accessibility,” said Jessica Staszewski, Professional Engineer and Professional Planner for FWH Associates, P.A., a Toms River based engineering firm who was hired for the project. FWH Associates has been involved with two other Project Freedom ventures thus far, having participated in the Grand Opening for the Toms River and Gibbsboro projects. On June 9th, Staszewski along with Christopher Rosati, Principal, Professional Engineer, and Professional Planner for FWH Associates, attended the Grand Opening of Project Freedom Town Center South in Robbinsville Township. She and FWH Associates are also assisting with Project Freedom Hamilton Woods in Hamilton Township, for which construction will be commencing shortly. Project Freedom, a Mercer County-based nonprofit organization, develops and operates barrier-free housing to enable individuals with disabilities to live independently.
